Nationally known evangelist Tim Lee described Friendship Baptist Church as "one of the most exciting
young churches in America." We are a young, growing church with an eternity of opportunity! Friendship is one of the
newest local churches in Ocala, Florida. In 2000, several very dedicated families made great personal sacrifices in launching
our church because they beleived there should be a new gathering of believers in SW Ocala. From that orginial step of faith
on March 3, 2000, there is today a fresh, growing body of believers in our community! Eight years ago our attendance
averaged in the 40's. We are currently running in the 140's! Several new families have joined our membership as they too have
felt the hand of God working among our people. There is a lot going on at FBC! Our building is packed to capacity every Sunday
forcing us to have two Worship services. We recently broke ground for a new auditorium which will be in use sometime
in the fall. Our Ladies Bible Fellowship (meeting the
second Tuesday night of the month) are studying through the book of Genesis. They take a break during the summer months (June,
July and August)but will pick it back up the 1st Tuesday night of September. We also have a new ministry in the
making, "The Widows Might". Our ladies will be ministering to the widows not only
in our church family but to those in our community as well. Those who still have their husbands will stand in the
gap and be the Might for those who a struggling with loneliness. The FBC choir meets every Sunday afteroon at 5:00 p.m. followed by a short practice on Wednesday night
following the mid-week Bible Study. We also have a beautiful nursery, ornate bathrooms, georgeous grounds over eight acres
in size and an ever-expanding dream!
Wednesday night Teen Broadcast is designed for our youth. Our
FBC Team Leaders are launching our teen's to an exciting spiritual level of seeking God. The Wednesday night dynamic
style of C. J. Fouraker's (a 2010 graduate of Trinity Baptist College) preaching and love for the teens make
Wednesday nights a life changing experience. Our Senior's Ministry, Young
at Heart is headed up by Mac & Pat McClanahan. They meet the last Friday night of each month and believe that Grey is
just a color and that youth comes from within. We
invite you and your family to join us in this exciting adventure. This journey is one of joy and fulfillment. Challenge
